Head Specialists work in their area, teaching campers the different programs that we offer at camp. Working under the direct supervision of a Program or Waterfront Director, you require a solid practical and theoretical background in the area that you wish to instruct, as well as skills in managing groups of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Each day you will work with a different set of campers as they attend the Specialty Area with their cabin group.
  • Head Specialists organize programming for their specialty, and supervise and evaluate their staff.
  • Along with their staff, they are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the specialty, including skill development, teaching and programming.
