Yes. Camp Walden is rented out by school boards from the end of May until Pre-Camp begins at the end of June. We hire a number of college and university students for this extra time in addition to the regular camping season. There may also be jobs for a week or two after the regular camp session concludes.
Camp Walden offers competitive salaries, often higher than other camps. Your salary is determined by the position you obtain, as well as your experience. There are no deductions for room and board at camp.
Being a Camp Walden staffer is a great addition to any resume. Leadership, teamwork and empathy are all developed in your time here. As well, valuable connections and friendships are made and strengthened every summer.
Camp staff are given 6 days off during the 7 weeks that campers are in attendance. Days off are 24 hours in length. Please view our Days Off Guidelines for details.
