If the Counsellors keep the kids’ minds and bodies engaged, it’s the Kitchen Staff that keep them fuelled for all the activity. This is your chance to be a part of an almost 20 person team that prepares fresh, nutritious meals for the entire camp.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation, cooking and serving of food for 400 – 700 people daily.
  • Duties also include setting tables, dishwashing and the clean up of the kitchen area.

Expectations and Experience

  • Polite and courteous team players are essential.
  • This is an active position with some physical labour.
  • Kitchen staff are expected to work five days a week with two (not necessarily consecutive) days off.
  • Restaurant or commercial food experience is an asset but not required – we’re always ready to train people who have a willingness to get dirty!
