Join us for our 7th Annual Family Camp Weekend!

A family, who plays together, goes to overnight camp together. I know school is almost done; the bar and bat mitzvah invites are coming to a close; and the kids are getting a little restless. No longer is the biggest decision in the house “what to have for dinner?”…it’s “what do we do this weekend?”

Well, have I got a solution for you!!!

My name is Rose Attard, Director of Camp Walden’s Family Camp weekend. And I give you permission (in fact consider this a note from your therapist!) to call in sick and pull the kids out of school early on Friday June 8, 2012, so that you can start your three hour drive to Camp Walden for the weekend! This year we are celebrating our 7th annual Walden Family Camp Weekend and you’re invited!!!

This past June, nearly 200 “family campers” descended on Camp Walden and had what we thought was the best Family Camp year yet! With more campers than ever, we opened the entire waterfront and land activities for our guests!

We are so excited to take this opportunity to invite:
-Camp Walden families,
-Our alumni,
-Our inquiring families and friends
-And you! (no matter who you are…)
to join us for a most unique weekend getaway! Camp Walden will be the place to celebrate our 6th annual Family Camp Weekend! Families will have the opportunity to experience all that Camp Walden has to offer; meals in our beautiful Dining Hall, waterfront activities on our private lake, sports activities galore, and accommodations in our spacious cabins together with their family and friends. Included in this wonderful weekend will be memorable evening programs, evening campfires, games, and much more!

In years past, Steven Pulver and Dave Borins have led us in traditional singsongs at our Den, Ben Fagan has taken us out to “The Ball Game” with our annual Baseball tournaments, and Sam Borden has taken us for rides on the tube behind our Walden ski boats!

We are extremely excited to see what this year holds for us but we know it will certainly include fun, laughter, and family bonding that you will never forget.

Your family weekend includes:
-Accommodations in our camper and staff cabins
-5 meals plus snacks (Friday: Dinner, Saturday: 3 meals, Sunday: Brunch)
-Use of the facility and programs geared for families with staff supervision
-A unique gift for all participants

This is a particularly beneficial experience for campers considering or registered for our Walden Colour or Home and Away programs.

Given last year's success, we expect that this program may sell out!
