A Traditional Overnight Camp for boys and girls ages 7-16.
For those who have been a part of Walden’s 43 year history, we hope that your website visit will bring back wonderful camp memories. We Make It Rain!
What an amazing day we had yesterday at Camp Walden!
The weather was HOT and three other camps were invited to participate in a Walden Intercamp Extravaganza! The best 13 male athletes and 13 female athletes were invited from Tamakwa, Northland, and Timberlane to participate in a variety of team sports.
Camp Walden found a unique way to beat the heat: a sprinkler. Not just any ordinary sprinkler, but an enormous awe-inspiring sprinkler system on our main field providing a totally new experience for our campers, staff and Intercamp guests. So how does it work? Refreshingly cool water from our own Red Pine Lake is pumped through a massive hose directly to a nozzle that shoots out a 360 degree soft blast of water. The resulting experience puts the mist tent at Canada's Wonderland to shame.
Today is another sunny day the weather, staff, and happy campers continue to make this summer the best ever!
