Henry David Thoreau (author of the book "Walden") believed that people could live peacefully within their environment. Our facilities were designed to complement the beauty of the natural setting - not to intrude upon it. Every building is aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.
Walden stretches over 750 acres of exceptional beauty in Eastern Ontario. Our private lakes surrounded by vibrant woodland, create an exquisite setting for the celebration of summer.
All Walden campers sleep in spacious, well-ventilated cabins. There is ample room for each campers belongings. The cabins blend in with the Walden setting.

Meet your 2012 Walden Head Staff!
As you are reading this, we are off on our way to a weekend of Head Staff training where we will continue preparations for the summer while reconnecting as a cohesive group. One of our favourite aspects of working at Walden is seeing the looks on the faces of campers and families when they first step foot on Walden's glorious property.
